Sushanna Jordan is a certified personal trainer through the National College of Exercise Professionals with a past Certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She starting teaching yoga when she started to incorporate yoga into her personal training sessions. She was recently certified in Acro Yoga, also known as partner yoga. She teaches yoga for recovery, muscle balancing, flexibility, and stress relief. The style of yoga Sushanna teaches is primarily Hatha Yoga which focuses on balancing and strengthening the mind, body, and soul connection. She includes props, breath work, and energy work into her classes. She has a gentle and practical approach to yoga and yoga philosophy. In her classes you will find strength building sequences to advance the physical practice through alignment drills, backbends, and inversions. She teaches all levels and encourages modifying poses and resting during class when need be. It’s all about the balance.
